Minnow is a casual sushi spot in Arcadia, Phoenix built for how we actually like to eat and drink—easygoing, high-quality, and a little fun.
We’re the kind of place you can stop into for a morning matcha, come back for lunch, swing by for happy hour, or settle in for dinner and cocktails. Order at the counter, grab a seat, and let us take it from there. No white tablecloths, no fuss—just really good food and drinks in a space that feels welcoming and relaxed.
Our menu is centered around fresh sushi, craveable small plates, and a thoughtful matcha program, alongside craft cocktails, beer, and wine. Everything is designed to be approachable, affordable, and consistently great—whether you’re popping in solo, meeting friends, or bringing the whole neighborhood crew.
Minnow was made for the Arcadia community. We love the mix of early mornings, active afternoons, and laid-back nights that define this part of Phoenix, and our space reflects that rhythm. You’ll find people grabbing matcha after a workout, lingering over lunch, or easing into the evening during happy hour before dinner.

MINNOW is part of In Good Spirits Hospitality, a Phoenix-based restaurant group behind The Gladly, Citizen Public House, and Beginner’s Luck. Across all of our restaurants, we care about the same things—thoughtful food, genuine hospitality, and places that feel good to be in. Each concept has its own personality, but they’re all built with the same goal in mind: create welcoming neighborhood spots where people can relax, connect, and enjoy themselves without overthinking it.

Both—and more. While Minnow is known for its matcha-forward beverage program, we’re first and foremost a sushi restaurant. Starting daily at 11AM, we serve thoughtfully crafted sushi for lunch and dinner alongside matcha, coffee, and cocktails, making us a unique hybrid spot for any time of day.

Yes! Minnow serves coffee and matcha all day long. While matcha is a big part of our identity, we also offer high-quality coffee from our friends at Moxie Coffee Co. for guests who prefer a classic caffeine option—morning, afternoon, or night.
Fun fact: Moxie Coffee Co. just took home a gold medal for one of their specialty roasts in the global coffee awards.

Yes—Minnow offers happy hour with specials on sushi, drinks, and select menu items. Happy hour is a great way to experience our sushi and beverage program at a great value every day from 3-6pm with a reverse sushi happy hour from 8-9pm.

Yes. Minnow is a night-time sushi restaurant, making it a go-to spot for sushi after dinner hours. Whether you’re heading out for the night or winding down, we serve sushi, cocktails, matcha, and coffee late until 9pm daily. (until 8pm on Sundays!)

No reservation needed! Minnow is a fast-casual sushi bar concept. Walk-in, order at the kiosk or counter, find your perfect seat and we will handle the rest.
Meeting with a big group? Our outdoor patio is the perfect space for a casual sushi night-out with friends! A moody fireplace, modern fixtures and bright red neon sign make it the best patio in Arcadia to sip a cocktail and enjoy some nigiri with great company.
